Texans Can Academies is governed by a group of dedicated and talented volunteers – our Board of Trustees. Each school also has a group of volunteers who serve as the school's Advisory Board. These community leaders lend their support and resources to help us in our mission to give kids a second chance to get an education.

Sara was born and raised in the southside of San Antonio. Her mother grew up in Poteet, TX and her father in Coahuila, Mexico. Sara is the youngest of 16 siblings. |
