Gloria Delgado

As Community Development Officer for Texas Capital Bank, Gloria Delgado represents the bank in the San Antonio community, where she manages corporate social responsibility programs, including charitable giving, community investments, and community engagement.

Prior to joining Texas Capital Bank, Ms. Delgado worked in the nonprofit sector, where she led an education and workforce initiative at the San Antonio Chamber and served as the President and CEO of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service. She also served as the President of the Catholic Community Foundation, launching the new foundation and leading its efforts.

Prior to moving into the nonprofit sector, Ms. Delgado had an impressive career with AT&T, where she served as President and CEO of the AT&T Foundation. During her tenure, she moved seven times, working in St. Louis, Houston, and Washington, DC, where she cultivated strategic alliances with national organizations.

Throughout her corporate career, Ms. Delgado has served on numerous nonprofit boards, strategically guiding nonprofits through effective board governance and serving as an ambassador and assisting with fundraising efforts.

Boards she has served on include the Komen Foundation, the San Antonio Lighthouse of the Blind, and the SLEW Cancer Wellness Center. In Houston, she served on the board of the Family Service Association and Sheltering Arms. She currently serves on the Strengthening Individuals and Families Council of the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County. 

Working her way through college as a newspaper reporter, Ms. Delgado earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Trinity University. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and received many awards for community service.
