Cynthia Miles

Chief of Staff

Texans Can Academies is near and dear to the heart of Cynthia Miles. Her father, the Reverend Roderick F. Miles, Sr., was instrumental in opening the first Texans Can campus in Fort Worth at Campus Drive Methodist Church. Cynthia herself would later serve in administration at that Texans Can campus. In the very place where father was preacher, daughter was principal.

A Fort Worth native, Cynthia has served public education for more than twenty years. At Fort Worth ISD, she served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. At Texans Can, she served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, instructional specialist, and Leadership Development Director. She currently serves as Chief of School Leadership.

A graduate of the historic Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, Cynthia also holds a master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix and participated in the Superintendent Certification Program at Lamar University.

Cynthia is the proud mommy of two daughters and the “Gigi” of her granddaughter, Harper Ryan.
