Student Nutrition Services

Welcome to the Texans Can Academies Student Nutrition Services Department

Our Student Nutrition Services Department is committed to serving healthy school meals and snacks for all Texans Can Academies students.  We strive to support academic success and promote nourishing eating habits that lead to lifelong positive nutrition practices.

We are a Community Eligibility Provision participant

Texans Can Academies will be serving free meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022-2023 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all enrolled children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. However, we encourage all parents to complete the Socioeconomic Survey which you can locate here. This approach reduces burdens for both families, school administrators, and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
