I’m Bryan Townsend, an educator for the past 14 years serving the amazing students of Texans Can – Austin!
My hope is that every student who steps foot in our building finds a sense of belonging. I hope that our students feel empowered to be their authentic selves and are able to build confidence and belief in themselves to set goals and chase their dreams.
One thing that excites me about this school year is the “Level Up” positive behavior program that rewards students for their academic and character growth and achievement. We have fun things planned for students who are achieving on our campus.
I’m of the belief that every student can succeed at the highest level, but it takes being honest with yourself first and foremost. Regardless of where your starting point is, effort, discipline, goal setting, and positivity are the formula to success. When you can take a step back and honestly analyze where you are—and establish where you want to go—anything can be achieved.
I encourage our parents/guardians and school stakeholders to get involved. Texans Can – Austin hosts regular community and parent-engagement events. Reach out via email or by calling the school as we are always welcome to your feedback.
