Hello, my name is Isabel Salazar. This is my first year as the proud principal of Texans Can Academy – Carrollton-Farmers Branch. For 27 years, I have been in education, working with students at all grade levels. I have been a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and director. For seven years, I have been with Texans Can Academies, where I am passionate about working with our students.
My hope is that all students receive the quality education they deserve so that they can graduate from high school and begin their path after graduation.
We are excited to begin a closet and pantry for students with needs. Our students also get involved with clubs and activities at school such as soccer, golf, and many other student opportunities.
I love working with students because I know that they are the future! I love serving our students with quality education and opportunities. They deserve nothing less. I believe that we always need to partner with the parents and families of our students as it takes everyone to ensure student success.
We invite each and every parent, student and community member to get involved at our campus as a volunteer, tutor or working with students. We have various opportunities to work with students on our campus and welcome members of the community.
