Dear Panther Parents and Students,
Welcome to Texans Can Academy Fort Worth- Westcreek campus, where we strive to make learning engaging while aiding in the success of our students. It's a privilege to serve Texans Can Academy Fort Worth- Westcreek campus and the Westcreek community as the principal of Westcreek and the opportunity to lead a school with a longstanding history in academics and career development. As a lifelong learner, I have successfully served in various capacities at all levels of education, including an elementary teacher and GT specialist, middle school instructional coach and administrator, high school administrator, and adjunct professor at Concordia University Texas.
The goal for our Panther family is to build upon the many successes obtained by the campus. We will increase the number of students graduating with career certifications, infuse parental involvement in campus decisions, and align community programs with the vision and mission. The teachers, staff, and administration at Westcreek are committed to providing high-quality education with relevant career readiness opportunities that meet the needs and interests of all students. As your principal, I look forward to challenging every student to take full advantage of all opportunities offered here at Westcreek and the parental support of their students.
In addition to serving as a school leader here, my husband, Kerry, and I have four daughters, Tyra, Brooklyn, Carmen, and Kinsley, and one son, Kerry Jr. We look forward to our new beginning at Westcreek and being a part of the WC Panther family where we "Thrive with Pride."
