A fundraising professional who has also leveraged her skills to boost for-profit sales, La Juana R. Sanford, recently retired, boasts a career of building relationships with customers, donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to drive organizational growth. For much of her career, she served Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, her alma mater, helping others to remain connected to the institution and take personal responsibility for its health. Ms. Sanford has served on several nonprofit boards.

Ms. Sanford holds a BA in Psychology from Huston-Tillotson, an MS in Non-Profit Management from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, and an MS in Organizational Leadership, also from Our Lady of the Lake.

She enjoys travel, wellness, and grandparenting.
