Texans Can Academies—Fort Worth Lancaster Hosts Successful Career Fair to Empower Student Futures

Fort Worth, TX — Texans Can Academies—Fort Worth Lancaster proudly hosted a successful career fair this week, bringing together over 10 respected local employers and organizations to connect with students about future career paths, training opportunities, and post-secondary options.

The event on campus was designed to provide students real-world exposure to careers in various industries, including transportation, healthcare, higher education, and public service. Employers in attendance included Coca-Cola, Trinity Metro, Tarrant County College, the U.S. Navy, Taste Project, Bridgette’s Medical Services, and others.

The fair was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Principal Mr. Reyes, Dr. Smith, CTE Facilitator Ms. Cross, and the broader Texans Can Academies network, which is committed to providing life-changing opportunities for students.

“Events like this give our students the chance to imagine and prepare for their futures,” said Ms. Cross, CTE Facilitator at TCA – Fort Worth Lancaster. “This would not be possible without the strong partnerships we’ve built with organizations that believe in investing in our youth.”

Students were given the opportunity to explore a variety of fields, ask questions directly to employers, and begin forming valuable connections that could lead to internships, certifications, or employment after graduation.

Texans Can Academies remains committed to helping students succeed academically and professionally by building strong community relationships and providing real-world learning experiences.
