Texans Can Academies will welcome students back for the 2025–2026 school year on Monday, August 11, 2025. School hours will be 8:00 AM to 2:55 PM across all campuses.
In preparation for the new school year, student schedules will be shared before the first day, and families will be contacted by campus leaders, counselors, and student advocates to arrange schedule pick-up appointments.
As part of ongoing efforts to support a focused learning environment, Texans Can Academies will reinforce dress code expectations and implement a structured cell phone policy in compliance with Texas House Bill 1481. All personal electronic devices must be powered off and securely stored during the school day. TCA will NOT allow cell phone usage during the school day based on the new state law for all Texas schools.
Additionally, the district is placing a renewed emphasis on reading and literacy in every classroom, including online tools and resources to further support student success.
The updated Student Code of Conduct and Family Handbook will be available on the district website. In addition, instructional information will be posted under the "Parents and Students" section of the website to keep families informed and updated throughout the school year.
