Dallas, Texas – November 5, 2025 – Texas Can Academies is proud to announce a new Leadership Lab Career Connection opportunity for students interested in high-demand trades. In partnership with Dallas College – South Dallas Workforce Training Center, Texas Can Academies will offer a free Roofing and Construction Trades Training Program from November 17–21, 2025, running daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This hands-on training is free for Texas Can Academies students aged 18 or older and includes transportation to and from the training site. Participants will learn essential construction and roofing skills while gaining exposure to career pathways in one of the fastest-growing industries in the state.

Students can continue their regular coursework while attending the program, ensuring they stay on track for graduation while gaining practical career skills.
Texas Can Academies also offers flexible scheduling and virtual learning options to support students in balancing their academic, personal, and career goals.
