Teacher of the Year – Mr. Victor Newton, TCA Houston North
Texans Can Academies proudly recognizes Mr. Victor Newton of TCA Houston North as Teacher of the Year for his outstanding work as a Math educator and his unwavering commitment to student success.
Mr. Newton is more than an exceptional Math teacher—he is a source of encouragement, confidence, and hope for students. Through his engaging instruction and strong relationships with students, he helps young people believe in what is possible and develop confidence in mathematics and critical thinking.

Campus Staff of the Year – Mr. Martin Donald, TCA Houston Southwest
Texans Can Academies is also honored to recognize Mr. Martin Donald of TCA Houston Southwest as Campus Staff of the Year. As a dedicated CTE Specialist and long-time Texans Can employee, Mr. Donald has earned the respect and admiration of colleagues through his commitment to service and teamwork. He approaches every responsibility with professionalism and a smile, embodying a servant-leader mindset that strengthens campus culture and supports student success.
