Career Fair

Dallas, TX — On March 12, 2026, Texans Can Academy Oak Cliff proudly hosted a dynamic College and Career Fair, bringing together a diverse group of community partners, higher education institutions, and industry professionals to inspire and inform Texans Can students about their future opportunities.

The event featured participation from leading organizations and institutions, including Dallas College and Baylor Scott & White Health, as well as representatives from barber schools, dentistry programs, and military branches. Ogle School was also in attendance, providing insight into career pathways in the beauty and wellness field.

Students engaged in a structured rotation schedule that allowed them to visit each booth and activity, ensuring meaningful interaction with every partner. Through these engagements, students gained valuable, life-changing information about college pathways, career options, and military service opportunities.

This event underscored a key priority for Texans Can Academy Oak Cliff: ensuring students graduate with more than just a high school diploma. By providing exposure, experiences, and active engagement with college, career, and military readiness opportunities, the school continues to equip students with the tools and knowledge necessary for long-term success.

The success of the event was made possible through the leadership and coordination of Ms. Adeng, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Specialist, whose efforts were instrumental in organizing the fair. The school also recognizes the support of Campus Principal Christopher Scroggins for championing initiatives that expand student opportunities.

Texans Can Academy Oak Cliff remains committed to fostering partnerships that open doors for students and prepare them for the next phase of their academic and professional journeys.
