Compensation Information

The Texans Can Academies Compensation Program is designed to attract and retain high performing employees and provide support to the organizational mission of providing the highest quality education for all students, especially those who have stuggled in a traditional high school setting ,in order to ensure their economic independence.

 Human Resource leadership directs the strategic planning, design, implementation, administration and communication of all district compensation programs. By researching and evaluating the organizational needs of the district and assessing market trends, we proactively ensure our compensation program is competitive and aligns with our district's philosophy.

It is important to note that Texans Can Academies is an at-will employer. This means any employee is free to leave Texans Can at any time, and that Texans Can is free to release any employee from their position with or without cause at any time as long as the release does not violate the employee's federally mandated rights. We currently do not require Chapter 21 contracts for certified staff members.
