National Counseling Week 2026

TCA is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week, honoring the vital role school counselors, academic advisors, and success coaches play in supporting student success across the network.

These professionals provide comprehensive support to students and families, including academic planning, course completion monitoring, enrollment guidance, and the development and updating of Personalized Graduation Plans (PGPs). Their work also includes making timely referrals to TCHATT, supporting students during times of crisis, and addressing barriers that may impact regular school attendance and engagement.

School counselors, academic advisors, and success coaches also collaborate closely across campuses, sharing resources and best practices to ensure consistent and effective services throughout the network. This collaborative approach strengthens school communities and enhances outcomes for students.

National School Counseling Week highlights the impact these roles have on academic achievement, mental health awareness, and postsecondary readiness. TCA recognizes and appreciates the dedication, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated each day in service of students and families.
