Delia Jasso
DDJ Professional Services, LLC

A former Dallas City Council member, Delia Jasso has a passion for giving back to our next generation. The echoes of that fervor are seen in most everything she devotes herself to: outreach, volunteerism, civic service and causes in which she can leverage her influence, share her experience and expend her energy.
“The best piece of advice someone gave me was to remember that the true measure of a person is honesty, integrity and fairness-minded.” Those are excellent qualities for someone who represents us on so many civic boards and projects. Delia is the Chairwoman of the Board for the Texas Can Academies and serves as a board member for the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Latino Cultural Center and the SMU Reunion Committee.
Personal life experience high-points for Jasso include her service as a council member and service on the Latino/Israel committee, Dallas. However, icing on the cake was her involvement with the Dallas Community College District and Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce partnership this past July, reaching out to recent graduates who are Hispanic to enroll them in Community College. It was a great success and the South Irving Northlake campus saw a 100 to 150-person enrollment. Most recently, Delia serves as a Tri-Chair of the Friends of Dallas Parks to advocate for a higher 2017 Bond proposition.
It may surprise you to learn that this lady is not only a public servant, but also an entrepreneur, whose experience includes forming three separate LLC companies, soon to become MWBEs.
