Richard Evans

Vice Chair

Dick Evans is President/CEO of Proliance Resource Group (a Summit Consolidated Group affiliate) which provides consulting, facilitation, and management services to companies in the area of Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Insurance, and Risk Management.

Mr. Evans received his B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University and has achieved the financial service and insurance designations of Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Fellow Life Management Institute, and is a LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow. Dick has a broad background of experience ranging from field representative to corporate management, with a focus on marketing and distribution.

Mr. Evans co-founded Proliance in 2004 to assist in helping advisory firms broaden their client offerings through alliance strategies. Mr. Evans is also a board member of Summit Consolidated, a full service employee benefit consulting firm. He is also a board member of ResourceOne Administrators, a medical third-party administrator.

A strong advocate for education, Mr. Evans is involved in the Dallas community as a partner and 2013 Board Chair for Dallas Social Venture Partners and a member of the Social Venture Partners International network of venture philanthropists. He also serves on the advisory committees for the University of Texas at Dallas’ Academic Bridge Program, Education Opens Doors, and Dallas Teacher Residency. He also serves on the state board of the Texas Association for Business and was the 2016 Chair for Texans Can Academies Dallas Development Council. He has been proudly affiliated with Texans Can for the past nine years.

Mr. Evans’ passion in the education field has steered Proliance to focus on assisting alternative education schools (charter schools) in exploring and implementing strategies that assist them in the recruitment, selection, and retention of quality teachers and staff.

Mr. Evans resides in Frisco, Texas, is married to Diane, his wife of 35 years. They have two grown children.
